cant you upgrade rookies any time? I remember some rookies being upgraded mid season after injuries during the season

If the deadline was yesterday it's a change of plans for a lot of teams but I don't think there has been a split round 1 before last year from memory was a spread out round 1 any way we will see next week

I was fairly sure that this was the case but this is separate from a LTI upgrade. Aidan Riley is on the LTI for Melbourne so I believe they should be able to upgrade Georgiou at any time

Pretty sure the deadline was for teams that didn't have a full squad. Eg. Teams with 5-6 rookies on their list. Club can only have 4 rookies at once unless upgraded for LTIs so it would make sense if these blokes had to be upgraded at the start of the year regardless. Therefore Georgiou could be upgraded whenever Demons see fit

Felsty is correct - Yesterdays deadline was for teams without the full Senior List to promote rookies.  Clubs still have the option at any time putting players on the LTI l;ist and replacing with rookies.

Like most hoping Melbourne put Riley on LTI and promote Georgiou.

Also hoping Brisbane promote Bourke and Beams on the LTI given he is gone for 2 months.
