Interesting to notice not many have mentioned Murphy (I don't rate him top 10 either).

Hence why I don't have him in my side, far too many cash cow options in the mids to pick someone at his price that's not going to be a top ten.

1. Pendlebury
2. Ablett
3. Beams
4. Selwood
4. Watson
5. Dangerfield
6. Griffen
7. Rockliff
8. Barlow
9. Jack
10. Sloane

Spinking

GAJ, Pendles, Swan, Selwood, Liberatore, Griffen, Cotchin, SJ, Beams, Dangerfield.

Have my reasons ;) One is its very hard for players to improve or replicate career best seasons after a decent jump into top end premium status. Usually we see a drop off

Then how come you have Rocky at 3rd? :P
Cause he averaged 113.5 in 2011, and averaged over 120 when played in the midfield last year

Because his career best season so far was 2011 and he's had his drop off since then

A combination of Gaz, Pendles, Danger, Fyfe, Cotchin, Libba, Beams as the top echelon, then guys like Watson, J.Selwood, Griffen, Boyd, S.Selwood, Stevie J who COULD round out the top 10, but have a range of "ifs" associated with them.

Edit: This is the year that I reckon D.Swan bombs out.

Vinny

Swanny will never ever bomb out.

He's my favourite non-Hawk player, so I hope that's true, but I have a gut feeling he's not as motivated this year.
Little things like "I'm playing till I'm 30 and that's it" in the past.......this pre-season's "Where are all my mates?", and Beams being cut from the leadership group.

Jackross10

I have swan so he better not bomb out. I expect 120+ again

gunston19

Gaj
Pendles
Swan
Beams
Selwood

North Melbournes Finest

I'm baffled as to why people don't think Harley Bennell is going to emerge into a top 10 mid, is it because people think he's half forward/ half midfielder?

Vinny

0 chance he will bomb out, haha. Just cause his mates aren't there and he will retire doesn't mean he will decide to spud a year, I have no doubt at all he will still be up there with the very best.

He hasn`t even had a breakout year yet so can see why nobody thinks he will be a top 10 mid this year
