Cripps and Goodes barely did anything for the quarter.

It's looking good for Dublin.

Edit: They're outscoring Bob by 6 atm, they need to outscore him by 22.

murphy Gooooaaallllll, could pull of a great escape here if they were only outscoring him by 6 at 3/4 time.

Absolutely gutted. We were looking good until Goodes decided to play like shower and have a horrible day. He's getting dropped for Clancee.  :P

I guess on the bright side, we've only lost to Dublin (who people seem to think are one of the better teams this season), by a few points... and that was without guys like Carrots, Hutchings, Pearce and Douglas who are all best XV.  :)

Toga

Only dropped for Clancee if he gets a game next week :P

Can play Mackenzie or Laidler.  ;)

Holz

legend, took on two players and beat them.

Nige

Cripps and Goodes outscored Bob by 2 in the end, probably won't even be that with scaling. ::) :P

Beijing Thunder (Captain played, 12/1072)  v   Wellington Warriors (Captain played, 15/1174)

Beijing aren't going to bad really, with Talia, Rosa and Yeo to come. Wellington would have benefited from the sub rule this week if they chose it, and Beijing are a great chance of coming away with a win.

Rosa 125, Yeo 72 and Glass 71 (who replaces Talia)

Sees us to a total of 1,340! Beijing with a win to start the season!! 8)

CrowsFan

Finished with a very disappointing total of 1,377. Not even any impressive scores in the reserves barring Polec's 107, so don't know where the improvement is going to come from. Could be a long year :(

Also congrats to Jroo, clearly the better side this week (2 weeks). Good job getting your first win in the WXV after many attempts ;)

Somebody told me on chat Sam Gilbert is out for 4-6 weeks, so put Newman on for him and Easton Wood emg... Looks like my failure to double cost me a few points, but not a win

An okay score, not really an exciting or one to be happy about though.

IDK this team's name, but I know they're my opponent

Kind of painful to see what was at the time 50/50 decisions burning us like Petrie on field for 20 and Hale 89 in the emg. Might see Petrie dropped next week.  Obviously not the most painful thing in the world. But 69 points for percentage could be the difference between 4th and 5th or 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd. Imagine coming 3rd based on his one Hale/Petrie decision and then losing based solely on HGA.

Handy to have players like D. Cross, D. Hale and S. Gilbert lining up for the reserves.

Congratulations JB on the win, was a tight match between us, but LeCras just had a monster game.

Now I'm just sad :(.

Nige

Filled about 20 buckets with tears already. The co-coach has mental scarring.

Bring on the Tigers next week.  >:(

Gia, our only playing forward this week, was sub.

Think we just dropped the worst score in XV history.

#268
Bittersweet for Suns

Both sides weren't all that active in trade period, with only Matthew Pavlich making a club debut, and no WXV debuts from either side. The Suns had class in everyline, while the Pumas wobbled in several areas. A wake-up call for the reigning premiers that it won't all be smooth sailing, and a reminder that the Suns are still the team to beat.

Well done to new Suns coach JROO8 for his first victory as a coach.

1st step for Moscow amends

The Spetsnaz became the first team ever to get knocked out in straight sets in the finals last year, and that's something that will burn. Nothing spectacular, but enough to get 4 points, after a dismal display from Toronto who will look to the reserves for reinforcements.
