Darn if I hadn't stuffed up twice and had who I wanted captain I think we would be home. Need a huge one from Bob. I just know I'm going to go down by less than 63 points though.

Nails

#226
Buenos Aires Armadillos

D - H. Scotland DNP, SD Thompson 88, Burgoyne 103, C. Newman 56
M - D. Swan 133.5 (134) (Co), S. Johnson 116 , M. Boyd, M. Barlow 198 (Co)
R - D. Cox
F - P. Chapman 124, D. Petrie 20, B. Harvey 74, J. Schulz 106
UTI - K. Cornes 111, J. Redpath

EMG - J. Kelly 102 (will come in for Reddy), D. Hale 89, E. Wood

1,232/12 (capts played, unfortunately Petrie did too)

Somebody told me on chat Sam Gilbert is out for 4-6 weeks, so put Newman on for him and Easton Wood emg... Looks like my failure to double check might cost me a few points, but not a win

IDK this team's name, but I know they're my opponent

N Haynes 89 - J Pittard 52 - C O'Shea DNP - C Guthrie 76
JPK (VC) 91 - T Cotchin 118 - D Thomas 62 - A Cooney (C)
J Toumpas 62.5 (63) OOP 32
G Rohan 47 - S Higgins - J Darling - T Hawkins 35
B Hill 96 - D Tyson 111

Emergencies:

S Reid, J Cameron, A Everitt 74

883/12 (capt not played)

Unless their captain and other 2 players DESTROY and my 3 players like Boyd, Cox and Wood (Wood and Cox lol) absolutely fail, we're home.

Kind of painful to see what was at the time 50/50 decisions burning us like Petrie on field for 20 and Hale 89 in the emg. Might see Petrie dropped next week.  Obviously not the most painful thing in the world. But 69 points for percentage could be the difference between 4th and 5th or 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd. Imagine coming 3rd based on his one Hale/Petrie decision and then losing based solely on HGA.

Handy to have players like D. Cross, D. Hale and S. Gilbert lining up for the reserves.

Jukes

Bored so will add up scores

Ruc: P.Ryder (VC) 96
Fwd: J.Riewoldt 36, L.Adams 46, M.Robinson 55, L.Henderson 47
Int: C.Young 60, M.Shaw 57
Overall: 1023*

*Assuming I know what happens. Hickey comes in as is top listed player on team list not already named and gets 1/4 then another 1/2 for being OOP, and Pedersen comes in at 1/4 ?

Easy win me thinks :3

Cripps and Goodes to come, expecting 60ish from the former and about 80ish from the latter. That'd get us to about 1500.

Just Bob for Dublin who I'll admit were unlucky.

Looks like we're home.  :)

Home?

You trail by 21 points. If you get what you expect your players to get (140 points) you'll lead by 119. Murphy scored more than 119 in 4 of 19 games last year.

And against his opponent tomorrow he scored 147 last year.

If anything, they're home, not you.
I'm real nervous. Just hoping Murphy has a quiet one and doesn't plan on dominating.
I'm trying to stay positive about this, but I too am nervous.

Here's to hoping Bob doesn't get his highest score from last year against the same team.  :P

jeez look at the emergency scores damn

looking like PNL lose a close one yet again :(

Nige

Damn, just realised that Dunstan fell short of a Worlds Rising Star nom.  :(

ossie85

One match to go! Encourage everyone to double check the scores :)

Sao Paulo Pumas (Captain played, 14/1321)   v   Mexico City Suns (Captain played, 13/1393)

Pumas have Masten to come, while the Suns have Hurn and Crameri. Would take a mammoth effort, and I think the Suns are home for a bit of revenge....

Moscow Spetsnaz (12/1072) v   Toronto Wolves (Captain played, 14/1094)

Moscow will likeli have Martin's VC scored of 102 doubled, with Naitanui, Sheed and Sinclair to come (Ellard's score currently halved, but assuming Barrass doesn't play it will be Sinclair's score eventually halved). Toronto have Butler to come, and I reckon Moscow are home and hosed.

Berlin Brewers (Captain played, 13/1149) v London Royals (Captain played, 15/1172)

Brewers finally showing some form, but still under what you'd expect, with JJ Kennedy and Hunter to come. London are well and truly done, meaning only an apocalyptic performance can prevent a Berlin victory here.

Buenos Aires Armadillos (Both Co-Captains played, 11/1130) v   Cape Town Cobras (12/884)

Buenos Aires look like the team of the round, with Cox, Boyd, Redpath (likely Kelly replacement) and Wood to come. Cape Town are struggling, with only Cooney (capt), Higgins and Darling to come. Buenos Aires not even sweating.

New York Revolution (11/672)   v   Pacific Islanders (Captain played, 15/1192)

Terrible performance from New York, with Libba (c), Stevens, Macrae and Lycett to come..... Amazingly, they are still a chance if Libba goes nuts with Pacific only managing a final score of 1192.

Beijing Thunder (Captain played, 12/1072)  v   Wellington Warriors (Captain played, 15/1174)

Beijing aren't going to bad really, with Talia, Rosa and Yeo to come. Wellington would have benefited from the sub rule this week if they chose it, and Beijing are a great chance of coming away with a win.

PNL Reindeers (one Co-Captain played, 14/1258)  v   Seoul Magpies (Captain played, 13/1284)

PNL have Co-Captain Priddis to come, and Seoul have LeCras and Jordan Roughead to come. Seoul have noses in front, but stranger things have happened..... PNL kicking  themselves for not activating sub rule, if they did, Billings would have been replaced by Myers (at half points), but it could prove crucial.

Dublin Destroyers (Captain played, 14/1388)   v   Cairo Sands (Captain played, 13/1367)

Leadership confusion at Dublin could cost them the win with Murphy to come, Cairo have Brett Goodes and Cripps to come... this one is close.

New Delhi Tigers  (One co-captain played, 12/696) v   Tokyo Samurai (11/698)

New Delhi heading for a terrible score, with Co-captain Wellingham, Gaff and Giansiracusa to come, a sub 1000 score is likely. Tokyo aren't doing much better, but with Captain Scooter, Shuey, Dahlhaus and Campbell to come, they should get a win here.

Toga

So we need 103 points from Talia, Yeo & Rosa to get us across the line... Come on boys!

elephants

Wowowow disgusting from NDT. Oh well, we can only improve from here!

Boomz

Not pretty reading for either of us... But at least we should win... I hope.

roo boys!

I swear, my coaching decisions are questionable at times... Can I just auto-sub rule from now on for every round? Or would we have to say it before every round?

We can only hope LeCras is well held and Jordan plays FB and does nothing. That and a 150 game from Priddis wouldn't hurt :P.

Very tight contest and spewing if we lose another close one :(. Gotta to say, if our reserves don't win this week either, I give up, I just give up... Billings/Shiel the subs didn't help, and McPharlin failed down back, certainly looking to be making a few changes this week if round 1 is anything to go by!

ossie85

Sorry hp, people need to nominate sub rule each round

Purple 77

Surely this horrible luck won't continue this  year for PNL, surely not :-\

Justin Bieber

And just to be sure, if a player is a sub but still scores more than the first emergency (even if it is halved), do we keep that player's score? Or does the sub-rule always come into effect if a starting player is a sub, regardless of score?
