No love for Selwood?

3rd highest average. I know they rested him but scans have cleared his hammy of any damage and he'll have a couple of weeks before first game. He's tough as nails, played every game last year, kicks goals can post massive sc scores. Am I missing something?

Coming of missing a few weeks with the footy surgery and then the hammy, its just a bit too risky this close to round 1.

they all have lingering questions marks- will ablett play some forward that may affect his scores (prob not), will pendles be hindered by the captaincy, will the drug issues bother Watson, will murphy be any good again, will beams get back to his best, is daisy a dud... the list goes on. I know the unknown is what makes it a game and interesting but I haven't heard much support at all for selwood, who should tear it up again

Yeh but the difference is they have completely preseasons and don't have injury concerns. No doubt Jelwood is a gun but he has had an injury interrupted couple of months. You can't have that when your paying top dollar especially this close to round 1

GC have said Ablett will not play forward, that's coming from the coach, haha. Don't see how Pendles will be hindered by the captaincy at all, he loves the big games and the pressure so having a title won't hurt him. It's not like he doesn't know how to break a tag either.

Honestly I'll be going for league win cause I probably have a better chance of winning that than overall. I'm tempTed to just get all the round 8 stars and forget that round ans smash the other two.
