We all have him, but I am having doubts. I've heard a number of Hawks fans say he is borderline best 22 at best, and even more say that he will be eased back by playing as the sub early on, which is a role he has seen more times then I would have liked in the past. Not really sure what else to do though, thinking about Rhyce Shaw who is just under 300k, back to full fitness and should be good for a 75 average, but Suckling could go 85 if he is fit and firing. What are all your guys thoughts, especially Hawks fans.

Having the same concern , maybe Webster . .?

felsty

Took him out.. The way I see it is he isn't a keeper, especially with guys like Mitchell, McVeigh, Bartel, Walker, Simpson added to defence, and there are other cheaper players that can average the same if not more than him. I have chosen caddy/Higgins over him because fwd rookies are sparse and I see them as better money making prospects

ando_10

Doubtful that he is borderline he is a huge part of that back 6 and is lethal with that left boot don't stress keep him will play every week

Ricochet

Be careful with Shaw. He has only averaged over 75 once in 5 years and that was 77

I think they're pulling your leg. Suckers is awesome. Who is going to play over him? Langford? LOL

HotTiges

Think he may get a vest or two but at that price I think he is worth it.

dmac07

Think he is definately best 22, but definately wont be a keeper.

I have him, but trying to find the guts not to start him as a POD, looking at running Pittard and Webster as my mid pricers down back instead.

C.Judd3Votes

If he can top Birchall then he might be a keeper

Dudge

A definite risk injury wise, but a risk worth taking for his price

fidou

Hawthorn have a very long tail and they bat very deep. There is going to be some good players missing a game for Round One. I think Suckers will play they aren't going to miss his penetrating left footers.

Suckling is a Lock.

Why do people even second guess this haha?

-Potential to average 90.
-312k.
-175k underpriced.
-Easily Best 22
-Everyone will have him so minimal risk.
-Worst case, he averages early 80s, makes you cash and you upgrade during byes.
