Could be closer than some might think, Brisbane won't fall apart as bad as they did in NAB1.

Hawks by 130.
You're joking right? No way in the world it will be over 50 points.

DP bet anyone?
I'm going to assume that was a typo by Nick and that he meant 30 points.  :P

Nah mate just kidding. Don't mind watching the Lions actually but yeah more like 30 points.

Hallahan should play then but don't know if i can fit him in

Langford has more of a chance playing IMO and if both get named is the more likely one to stay and cement his spot in our team. Outstanding preseason!

GoLions

Lions by 10000

In all seriousness though, Hawks by 23

"THE HAWKS will be without seven premiership players for their season opener against Brisbane on Saturday but defender Grant Birchall says the side has the depth to cover the missing stars.

Ben Stratton and Brad Sewell won't play due to hamstring injuries sustained two weeks ago, Brian Lake and Cyril Rioli are suspended, Brent Guerra and Max Bailey have retired while Lance Franklin departed for Sydney under free agency rules."

Something for those who are considering huge margins to consider together with the fact there will be a minimal change to Brisbane's line up that finished the season strongly.

JBs-Hawks

Dont think any of those outs will bother us at all. Hawks by 60 ;)

Toga

Yeah tipping the hawks by about 10 goals.

Although Brissy could be anything this year so hopefully they put up a good fight!

Yes Toga - our first aim this year I believe would be to avoid the blowouts we had last year and keep our % closer to 100 and that imo given our draw which is recognised as hardest in the comp would be a pass mark for Leppa in first year.

Good to see the Lions blooding some youngsters in Aish & Taylor. Can't wait to see how our Redlegs boy does, go Aishy!

Poppy from Norwood and Redden from Glenelg too. ;)

Who else? Mayes, Wanganeen, Burgoyne...I think that's about it.

Ringo

You are forgetting the Lions current Best and Fairest Joel Patful who was recruited from Norwood. Also Justin Clarke who was recruited from North Adelaide.  Just to add another 2.
