anyone know the exact time the teams will be announced??

I think the first week of teams will be this Thursday about 6pm.

Something else to consider is current team outs eg Hawks have Rioli and Lake both suspended but will come back into best 22 as soon as they're allowed so even if blokes like Langford, Hartung or Hallahan get named in round 1, They are unlikely to be around for long enough to see a price rise anyway (Rioli out for 1 game, Lake 3 IIRC). Wouldn't be surprised for one to be named in round 1 but then dropped round 2 to make way for Rioli. Lenny Hayes and Leigh Montagna may also have a royal spanner in the works for Dunstan, though Dunstan has had a pretty good preseason so maybe others will be dropped ahead of him. Hard to say...

Worth thinking about at least, being named round 1 is not the end of the carnage.

Don`t forget Steven is out for a few weeks so I see Dunstan in the team possibly up until bye rounds

Yeah it'll be interesting to see - essentially of the 22 named for week one, 2 are only playing one game for Montagna and Hayes. I completely expect Dunstan to be named round 1, but which two will be dropped for round 2 will be the thing we need to speculate.

Isnt Dunstan a mature aged recruit? Surely you don't bring a guy like that into a club to play ressies. I expect him to be a regular fixture in the Saints lineup

Ahh that's right, cheers

Still think he plays regularly and is the perfect M9

I'm just considering in each team who will be the people to leave the side once suspended/injured players return. Hawks, Swans, Saints, Crows - they've all got rookies that look lke good pickups but equally they've all got good players who are virtually guaranteed a sport in the best 22 who are currently out for various reasons. So it's a calculated risk about who will make way when they come back.
