Higgins vs T Menzel

F5 spot up for grabs.. Higgins, who is trying his best to seduce us into selection or Menzel who looks pretty good for Carlton but am worried by Mick and how he could use him. Should avoid the vest IMO. Scoring wise, could go with Higgins and is cheaper which helps..

Menzel is a player I have cosidered as a unique pick up. He has a bit of Wingard about him I reckon. Big risk though. As unsafe as Higgins is he is still alot safer than Menzel

As a Carlton fan I would not want to put in troy menzel, he often pops up does 5 good things then goes missing for large periods of the game, Higgins would be my suggestion.

Not much to go by though, he's only played 6 games. I think he will have a big season

Menzel is still very young and as long as Higgins stays fit he should score better.

Was watching Menzel last year and he has some class and will become a very good player.

but after some average NAB performances SC wise it looks like he will only score like a small forward - very patchy

the difference is Wingard was let loose through the middle a fair bit - I dont think menzel will get anywhere near the same mid time.
