Is having all of Mitchell, Birchall and Suckling in the same team too much?

Adamant

I don't think so, remember that we had Goddard, Heppell and Hibberd last year all scoring well in the same side. I'm viewing Mitchell as a midfielder anyway so really down back it's just Birch and Suckling.

I was actually thinking of including Hodge as well but four is probably a bit excessive. :P

For byes, it could be difficult, but no more difficult than having any other set of three round 9 players in defence.

I see no issue with it if they're all scoring well. I think most people will have Mitchell and Suckling.

No worries at all, I had 3 hawks in defence at one point and as long as you don't have way more R9 byes overall it should be fine. I for one have somehow managed 4 R9 byes onfield in my forward line  ::) but only 10 overall

An easy way of getting away with this strat is to switch mitchell into the mids for round 9 then back again in round 10. Very few decent mids with a round 9 bye so it should work well

SydneyRox

too many.

3 players from any team in any line, too many

So you aren't going to have Swan, Pendles and Beams by the end of the season then?

TomK

Now that Langford looks like a likely round 1 starter, is there room for him also? Four just seems too much.

not a big deal at all, if they all score well who cares...

Exactly, if they are getting you what's required it doesn't matter

Ricochet

Not a problem at all. With 2 trades a week Suckers will probably be gone by the byes. Deal with them then

No issue a all as long as you check your lines for the byes :)

blues boy

Can almost afford to have 4 now since langford looks a certain starter for round 1
