So with Pods moving on...and Vardy going down...and Blicavs playing time at half back during the NAB...do we think Harry will get more of less time up forward this year? Very effective when he's up there

Questions like this make the perfect opportunity to suss them out as an upgrade target, see the role that he plays and the scores he's getting but start with someone safer. For me I'm doing the same with Hanley - unsure how he much attention he will cop/how he will handle it, alas, wait and see.

Still think Harry will play 85% back with a bit of pinch hitting FWD depending on Tomahawk availability

Every year I get tempted to bring in Harry, because he can punch out a big score, but when he has a quite day, he will cost you a league win, and that's why I always never end up getting him. His lows are low

Thankx guys,

Just not comfy with Hanley, Hibbered has hammy issues, Enright might be the option....but is getting on in years

luketown

I reckon he's a great pod, will average out and hit a couple big ones...

Ricochet

I think guys like MBrown and Kersten will fill that void in the fwd line

Looks like Hanley and Simpson have as many low scores (<70) as Harry.

Enright has the fewest low scores.

Enright and Hibberd are the consistent defenders, which is why I get them

True doc, Harry looks like a real nice POD

Not worried by Hibberd's hammy or Enrights age?

Enrights age is irrelevant I reckon, its not like he relies on gut running and covering heaps of ground to score

If Hibberd is named rd1 then I will start him, if not then will swap him to Thompson or Hanley

EDIT - I just put Harry in my team to see what it looks like, and I like it lol, just seeing something different is refreshing, but don't know how long he will stay in for  ::)

I think Enright's age is relevant he is more likely to get rested later in the year and considering Geelong seem to want to get games into the young guys

I expect both Taylor and Enright to have a 'managed' break sometime this season.. No defender will play every game though..

None? Big call

Doggoneit

The AFL has already scheduled 2 breaks this season - Rd 8 to 10 byes and also Rd 18 is split round - every player gets at least 2 weeks rest through the season

I wonder if this was to avoid Ross's rd23 debacle ????
