2014 Round 1 Doggies line up

Now that the Nab is over and just one more hit out against the Footscray Bulldogs it is time to have a look at the likely Round 1 line up

There is a squeeze on for positions but here is how I see it

B: Morris, Roughead, Picken
HB Higgins, Talia, Goodes
C: Macrae, Libba, Cooney
HF: Dahlhaus, Crameri, Stevens
F: Dickson, Campbell, Hunter
R: Minson, Wallis, Griffen
INT: Boyd, Johannisen, Wood
Sub (Gia)

Emerg: Young, Tutt, Stringer

Injured: Murphy, Grant, Hrovat, Smith

We play WCE and i'm not sure how tall we will go in the backline. Picken could make way for Young.

Jones hasn't played any NAB and I don't think Williams is ready.

Murphy, Grant and Hrovat should be ready over the next few weeks - someone will get squeezed out for Murphy (possibly Dickson) while Grant and Rat will have to fight for a spot.

well a few things changed since I posted that

I had Griff named on the ball and Murphy out injured

other than that I  had Talia in and Stringer out - still surprised we didn't go taller against the Weagles
