I've changed Dusty to Roughy at F2 after yesterday's game. I think he can really dominate and score better with Spuddy gone, and Dusty always worries me that he'll do something stupid.

Anyone else done the same?

he played melbourne....i would be worried if he didn't have a good game

Why not have both? Danger, Martin and Roughy looks perfect from F1-3 in my side!

GoLions

Nope, Dusty is locked in my side, and ceebs finding another 80k or so to get Roughy

I thought judging premiums for SC in PS games was "against the rules" (not that I follow any) especially when playing MELBOURNE? :o

I still think Roughy will be a good pick but not over Danger and Martin and not based on 1 game vs cellar dwellers.

Just seems odd that you didn't think this anytime prior to yesterday  :P

I've had this setup for some time for several reasons. Dusty's role change has me concerned. Given his normal forward pressure and goal ability, I'm not yet convinced the half back sweeper (normally a good SC role) will be as SC friendly to him. He also becomes a prime tag target (think what happened to hanley, birchall), just as attempted in the recent match against the bombers.
The roughy positives as well as the dusty negatives also have me leaning his way. He is super consistent year on year for a forward. I know he is kpp, but i think he is more consistent than Dusty (im a hawks fan, so happy to be told this is looking through rose coloured glasses :) ) I was concerned about he would mainly stay at home up forward this year. However, I saw Clarko was asked what role he saw for Hale this year, whether more forward without buddy, and he responded that the plan is to rotate all of big boy, roughy, and the rug through the ruck.
And last but not least(?) Roughy is more bye friendly.

Already had Roughy locked him and almost disappointed he did so well yesterday as Im worried more people to jump on when I wanted him to stay more unique.

Roughy is excellent but just seems he has absolute stinkers and a lowish ceiling.

Check his top score of 145 in past 4 years and a swag of sub 60's.

Like any key forward.

Guy is a beast. Should at least average 100. Got him, Dusty and Danger locked in.

Past 4 years is a long way to go back considering in 2010 he only averaged 77 so of course there is going to be a bunch of sub 60 scores. But look at his last 2 years instead and he has only dropped below 60 once!
