All you have to do is try to get the best bid in during the 30 second window before the deadline.

Daz, you had 17 seconds to see MQ's last post, and 9 seconds to post a 1.22+ bid.

As long as you're refreshing and keeping track of the clock you should be able to get a post in within that time and see any updated bid. The problem is to make sure you wait UNTIL your 30s limit is over, otherwise you need another refresh and lose ~5 seconds.

Also I don't really think there's any need to delete posts, regardless of their validity. All a bit meh.
