yeah can be a good tactic
but for example if you win Ablett atm at the bid of 4.3
that's almost half your salary gone and can become pretty dangerous when bidding for players you do'nt want simply to drive up the price...lol

but yeah it is a strategy
just like sniping is (which is all i will bother to do and am honest no point placing bids now)
