Well, SJ will get suspended or injured or something sooner or later, so I wouldn't want to start with him.
Swan would probably be quite a good POD. Do you already have Pendles and Beams though? Might be a bit of Pies overkill in the midfield, but as we saw in 2012 they can all average like 120+ together.

I'd go Swan over SJ, but if you don't have Pendles I'd look for cash to get him instead.

Neither
Both possible upgrade targets

It's quite bizarre how nobody seems to be starting either of these two

Swan is always an upgrade after byes, and I guess SJ misses out because there seem to be more value for money options instead

Because both will drop in price
Stevie J is pretty inconsistent so not worth starting with but is worth monitoring

Stevie J will definately drop, Swan maybe not, Pendles and Beams are just hard not too start. Swan could be a seriously good POD if he pumps out a few 150+s, which he is more than capable of doing, and your the only one who has him.

Tend to disagree with this

Check out his scores last year

I`ve seen his scores from last year I did his SC player profile not consistent enough for his price in the midfield when you have cheaper options available who are more consistent and have more upside

Terribly inconsistent. He scores 97 one week, then 160 the next. And later on makes a 151, AND THEN A PUTRID 86.

Swan of the 2, its simply the R8 bye making them unpopular choices as Gaz/Pendles are in front of them + Swan reckons his wrist feels the best its been in 5 years after surgery so he might tackle more :)

thanks for feedback, I guess we all have different opinions, I reckon Stevie J's average will be up there again this yr. I know week to week he is a bit of a rollercoaster but he is capable of some very tidy scores.
Just looking for a couple of POD, otherwise we all start with the same players and a lot of teams tend to look real similar. Not denying the players in the teams aren't worthy, just want at least a few POD
Thanks

I think Swan has had it to be honest. Second wrist operated on and doesn't have full range of motion in either. Not being able to lift anything with your good hand qualifies as an interrupted preseason for me.

Agreed, both upgrade targets. Stevie J certainly not inconsistent though haha, not when he plays in the middle.

Both great picks, trying to fit them in with my other mids but have same bye :/
