The FanFooty Whose Line Is It Anyway? Games Thread.

The basic idea of this thread is for us forum members to have a bit of fun in the form of Whose Line Is It Anyway? games.

Those who have watched the show would have a pretty good idea of the games below and how they work, but I'll describe them below for those who don't. I'll also hyperlink a scene of each game from the show for people to watch to either learn from or for inspiration. Also, don't just steal material from the show itself.

Please refrain from any unnecessary comments such as personal jabs at other members, but basic, friendly and funny banter is fine. If your name is mentioned in a way that you dislike, please let me know and I'll relay it to a mod (unless they get to it first).



The place where the game is made up and the points don't matter. Anyone can make a game (Can be from Whose Line Is it anyway, or original game, has to be playable by text and you have to tell the rules) and anybody can join in and build on each other!

The Games

Scene From a Hat (SFAH): Members create a scene from a suggestion, like "Something you don't want to hear from your parents", "Bad reality tv show concepts", etc. Members can reply with anything they think best fits the category.

Alphabet: Players enact a scene in which each sentence must begin with the next letter of the alphabet, beginning with the suggested letter (the OP would post the first letter). You must go through the entire alphabet once.

Number of Words: Players act out a scene, but each user is assigned a number of words they can use per posting.

Song Titles: Players act out a scene speaking only in existing song titles.

World's Worst: A topic is given in the form of "the world's worst [something]. Players come up with worst possible ways of performing the job/task/action. (Example: World's worst hairdresser - "Oooh, but I hate scissors. Can I just use my cat to scratch the hairs off of you?")

Hoedown: People sing (or type) a hoedown about a provided subject, with each making four-line stanzas (unrelated to each other). The stanzas typically follow the same AABB rhyme scheme with the fourth line as a punchline.
