For mine, I would swap a defender, maybe Hurn to Rhys Shaw and upgrade Aish to Macrae. IMO defenders will never give the numbers of mids so prefer to spend my cash in the middle. And Shaw is under most radars, was a consistent scorer before the injuries.

Backline is strong, good to see only 1 rookie on the field. McVeigh is overpriced in my opinion but should still score around the high 90s mark or low 100s on average.
We have exactly the same midfield expect I have Michie over Aish. I think Aish may struggle given the Lions very tough draw, especially at the start of the year.
I have been hearing that Kreuz will play up forward a fair bit which I don't like. He could be a good POD so not saying you should trade him but I would prefer Leuenberger or Nic Nat when fit.
You are one premium short in the Fwd line I think with Kennedy at F3. Also as a Tiger fan I think McDonough will struggle to get a consistent run in the team. He is in the mix for round 1 but I don't think he is in the best 22 and could get the vest. Rohan a better option.

I give you a 7.75/10 but I imagine you have by now made a few changes/improvements on your side.

DEF: looks solid

MID:
Like you I had Daisy initially. I am concerned on his ability to consistently get the 100 you want out of him each week and of his ankle holding up. He's a good middle ground if you need cash elsewhere, and need a few extra points over a rookie.
As for AISH, I'm taking the punt that he will shine and keep his spot in the side scoring decent enough most weeks. Voss has said he wants to play him as much as possible.

If you are looking for league wins I would go with more rookies and generate cash for an explosive finish and finals campaign. If you are going for overall, then you need to take some gambles on guys like Daisy holding out and rewarding your gamble. those extra points he generates early on may well be crucial to your shot at the title. Relying on the right mix of mid rookies at the start could put you behind the 8 ball. Do you think Crouch will do better than michie?

I see you now have the Kreuz. I'm a carlton fan, he has always disappointed me in the past. But I feel this year is his if he is strong and fit and not sharing the duties as much he will be a consistent scorer. so a tick here in the rucks.

FWD:

J Kennedy, he is a machine. will he get the scores above and beyond the likes of Buddy, Roughy, Pav? maybe a good POD here..

Mids: nothing wrong with the midfield, a lot of people are going the four premo strategy, very good choice of your prems! Like the pick of Aish, should get plenty of opportunity.

Ruck: Solid

Forward: I'm not sure about Caddy and Higgins, if you had one it would be fine just think it is a bit risky going with the both of them!

I really want Thomas but im now worried that Dunsten wont be able to hold a spot in the 22 so have had to get some more rookies and I believe that Crocuh has a higher ceiling then Michie but Michie has far more js if crouch gets named round 1 lock him in!
