What about throwing Aish into the mix? He has been pretty consistent in the nab and prac matches.

Have Tyson, Michie, Polec, Ellis, Dunston and Langdon for DPP ahead of him. Cant afford a 6th expensive rookie, so if Langdon doesn't get named i'd prob opt for Crouch/Cunners/Buckly over him too, rather then downgrading a uber premium just to find some extra coin.

Couldn't decide so dropped Thomas.

Starting Ellis polec mitchie Tyson.

+1 & Jock Reynolds has me convinced his ankle won't hold up...that and match fitness, reckon they will manage Daisy, heard he started well in one of the practice matches but faded after half time.

Cant see why people are bothering with Daisy, Shiels, Macrae whoever else is the flavour of the day

With so many rookies to choose from why spend more on those mids pricers? Their not keepers so keep the cash and go with the kids

Sound logic, the aim would be to get those extra 20 points or so from and guy Like Macrae,Daisy or Shiels..if one could average a few games in a row around that 100 mark you'd get a nice price raise and a jump on people fielding a rookie scoring 75-80...guess that saved money could be spent elsewhere though..tough call

Yeah fair point Gruff. Yep, if the money saved can allow you to turn a def ruc or fwd mid pricer to a premo then that's the way to go

No, i'd imagine that is very common! I'm running wit it!

Due to the lack of forward rookies....only JKH and Impey to like (McDonough and Lloyd questionable R1 selection and JS after that appear next best)... I took Honeychurch out of my planned team and have brought in Caddy for him which puts him as my F5 and pushes Higgins back to F6. That upgrade came from dumping Daisy and shock horror I'm another on the Tyson bandwagon looking at 6 mid rookies/cheapies to generate the cash for my team upgrades.
Traditionally I like to start with as strong a midfield as possible and my team looks weak with Tyson at M5 but all other options look even worse.
