Different Strategy for me

I have had to incorporate lots of mid pricers this year than previously, and it has me concerned. I don't think there is any way around it with the new price structures, so here goes:

Backs: Mitchell, Hanley, Enright, Swallow, McDonald, Laidler, Tippett, Georgiou.

Couldnt justify Bartels and Mcveighs price tag at the moment, will try bring one into the mid field once their prices drop.

Mids: Gaz, Fyffe, Priddis, Beams, Thomas, Macrea, Polec, Elliss, Mitchie, Crouch

Had a real focus on splitting my byes up. Was real close to going Hutchings over priddis for a POD, ripped up the end of last year and has done so in the pre season also, have gone the safe option for now. Macrea a risk but reckon he is primed for a break out year, Griff and Libba will get all of the attention allowing him to do his thing. Awkward price, but taking a punt.

Rucks: Goldstein, Sandilands, Currie, Dereckx

Hopefully set and forget with this, assuming sandi stays fit. Reckon the X is a good chance of picking up regular games to help Pyke out.

Fwds: Dangerfield, Martin, Cloke, Wright, Rohan JKH, Mcdonohue, Merret.

Wright is a risk, but going to back him in. Great preseason but a great chance of being downgraded to a performing rookie if he doesnt stand up early.

I found I had heaps of trades at the end of last season so taking a few more risks this year, if they dont work out I dont mind burning a few early.
