Forward Tom Lynch will have scans after dislocating his shoulder in Adelaide's trial match against Greater Western Sydney at Blacktown on Friday.

Lynch walked from the ground cradling his arm after receiving heavy contact in a contest during the second quarter. The match was Lynch's first of the year following post-season foot surgery.

Utility Andy Otten appears to have avoided serious injury to his right knee, which he jarred in a marking contest just before half time.

Midfielder Richard Douglas suffered a heavy knock to his groin and was taken to hospital for precautionary scans.

Defender Sam Shaw experienced hamstring tightness early in the game and took no further part as a precaution.

Four injuries in a match, pretty unlucky.
Wasn't Lynch coming back from an injury?
