As the deadline was changed till this afternoon write up will not be available till after that time to allow teams to claim 20 Bonus Points.

FTR Highest individual Team total for the season was 2026.  As Nails said trading will have strengthened most teams so would expect this total to be exceeded this year.

Below is the link to Sportal to check scores.  If registering a team please feel free to join the British XV's league code is 646281.

Not sure whether the above is right...

Anyway, I thought our score was a pretty decent effort (for my team at least), but we've been smashed... the Werewolves went huge.

I did it and got 2003 with sub included, so 60 for HGA and 20 will leave it at 2083. (You added the sub and forgot to remove the lowest score of gibson)

Hedgies did not have HGA when they played and scored 2026, so without HGA for this team it would be 2023, just shy of hedgies (and the addition of the sub rule helped by 80 points)

But credit where credit is due, they smashed this week outta the park!!!
The lowest score was Chaplin with 60 I think?  ???

But yeah, I see my mistake.

The Further kid says thank you.  :P

Ok I didn't register for Sportal in Round 1 so I couldn't see scores until now.

Here's our results. Safe to say we got pummelled.

Staines Steins: Round 1

Defenders: Dean Terlich (72x2=144), Nathan Grima (54), Lee Spurr (62), Elliott Yeo (87)
Midfielders: Kieren Jack (DNP), Tendai Mzungu (156), Ryan Lester (117), Viv Michie (94)
Rucks: Jake Spencer (108)
Forwards: Lachie Hunter (118), Jamie Elliott (61), Josh Jenkins (DNP), Lewis Jetta (73)
Utilities: Ryan Crowley (85), Marty Clarke (49)

Sub: Alexis Georgiou (63)
Emergency: Harry Cunningham (73), Lewis-Roberts Thompson (2), Beau Maister (25)
Captain: Kieren Jack
Vice-Captain: Dean Terlich

Horrible week for us, starting with the withdrawal of our captain. A couple of decent signs from some players though.

Now because of the DNP we had please forgive me if this total is wrong.

I count our initial total as 1306 (ouch) and that's including Cunningham's score for K Jack and Maister's score for J Jenkins.

However, then I believe the sub comes in to play which I think is Georgiou's score for Marty Clarke. Or would it be for Maister as he's now the lowest score after coming off the bench?

I'm assuming it's the former which means we add 14 to the above score which gives us 1320. Then add 20 for doing our score before the deadline which means 1340 in total.

Which is about half what our opponent got.

Nails

Giants

D - J. Grimes 103, D. Swallow 145 (VC), Johannisen 46, E. MacKenzie 98
M - B. Ebert 206 (C), R. Conca 127, B. McLean 69, D. Stanley 92
R - M. Leuenberger 97
F - M. Wright 129, C. Knights DNP - covered by our D emg? 35/2 = 17.5 ?, T. Dickson 51, T. Vickery 65
UTI - M. Wallis 81, R. Palmer 17

EMG - L. Anthony - M (sub), T. Boyd - F, OOP M. Close - D, B. Longer - R

1,344 + 20

= 136

I think that's how it should work.

this is where the sub rule gets a little confusing -

As Beau Maister was a late replacement for Jenkins in your starting team this means he was on the ground for the whole match and as such Georgious score replaces Maisters.

Badgers, Falcons, Magic, Leeches, Cruisers, Bunnies and Hurricanes still to update final scores to receive 20 points bonus.
Magic unfortunately did not name a Captain in their lodged team so their VC score will be taken.

Changes for Week 2

M.Crouch OUT
C.Smith OUT
T.Lee IN
S.Lycett IN

6/727

Not bad for Lyons. Scored more in 1 Qtr than Crouch did in 3!!

12/1310 - Hurn and Crameri to go and more than likely an extra 18 from the sub :(

15/1559  (Inc Sub score for J.Fitz and 20 + HGA(the 23 right?))

Still a comfortable win by JB. But encouraging considering some of our outs.

kilbluff1985

we should have Clarke and Dempsey back this week  ;D

I didn't think we were playing the 20 point bonus so I didn't update?? If I lose by under 20 points, I will angry.

BXVs has always done it and iirc, we voted to keep it that way.

Well we actually changed scoring and thus it was scrapped. Now I was unaware of the transition. Shouldn't matter anyways.

Well at long last the results you have been waiting for:

Bradford Badgers 28.18.186 defeated Staines Steins 20.16.136
Changes
Badgers - Greg Broughton replaced Beau Waters and Clinton Jones replaced Ryan Griffin.  Tom J Lych sub score taken for Trent Mackenzie.
Steins Harry Cunningham repalced Kieran Jack and Georgious Sub score taken for Josh Jenkins.
The Badgers have strated to felx their muscles with a comfortable win over the improving Steins who suffered from the late withdrawal of Captain Kieran Jack. Despite outstanding efforts from Mzungu the Badgers midfield were allowed to run at will setting up opportunities forward.
Best Players
Badgers: Cotchin, Prestia, Barlow, Darling, Mackie
Steins: Mzungu, Hunter, Lester, Spencer

Manchester Magic 24.16.160 defeated Newcastle Falcons 24.14.158
Changes
Falcons: Kade Simpson replaces Brent Reilly and Ted Richards replaced Tom Simpkin for quarter points; Derick Wanganeen replaced Nick Komer.
Magic :Trent West replaced Zac Smith and Jared Polec sub score replaces Lance Franklin
In one of the closest games of the season Magic narrowly got over the Falcons.  The Falcons were somewhat decimated with a number of late outs and did enough to show they will be threat to most teams with a full complement of players. The battle of both midfields was a delight to witness but Magic with a little bit more potency on the bench was able to scrap out the win.
Best Players
Magic: Ward. Vince, Sloane, Liberatore, Grigg
Falcons: Watson, Boyd, Stokes, Chapman, McEvoy

Winchester Werewolves 32.17.209 defeated Liverpool Rams 25.17.167

Leeds Leeches 24.14.158 defeated Crosby Cruisers 20.13.133

Huddersfield Hawks 28.11.179  defeated Blackpool Bunnies 22.14.156

Hastings Hurricanes  25.14.164 defeated Grope Lane Giants 20.18.138

Swindon Swaggers 24.16.160 defeated Oxford Owls 23.16.154

Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs 26.14.170 defeated Birmingham Dragons 22.13.145

Nottingham Hoods 22.16.148 defeated Swansea Breaker 21.19.145
