Um I have forgotten how the sub rule works sorry, is it only used when you have a starting player as a sub or if they score higher than a starting fielded player?
So will Ballas 66 count instead of Jroos 38 for the hedgehogs?

I think it's the latter. The whole thing is still very confusing for me personally.

It is actually simple if the player you nominated as sub from your 4 emergencies (one for each line) is not required as an emergency and scores more than the lowest scoring player on the field then the sub score is taken. For HGA the lowest score is still counted.
