Good afternoon coaches

I am just clarifying a ruling as it is likely to happen regarding OOP (Out of Position) Players.

OOP can only be used when you do not have any available players left playing in that position. Administrator will confirm when teams are lodged that OOP is legitimate.

As the sub rule can be invoked for any player on the field the following will apply to substitute for OOP players.
For the purpose of sub use - The Initial Score of the OOP player will be taken into consideration for lowest scoring player on the field.  eg Player X is your OOP player and he scores 80 reduced to 40 for OOP then the 80 is taken into consideration for lowest score on field, If the 80 is still the lowest score on the field subs score of 100 will be taken.

For HGA however 40 will be the HGA not 80.

Just though I would clarify as we have a couple of teams with OOP Players,

If a team doesn't turn up in a real match, the opposition wins. If Spink lodges a team it is all fine but if he doesn't I really think we should get the four points with no % effected.

Still areasonably strong team although he probably would have named Swan, Gibbs and maybe Simpson. Falcons have a strong list.
