Who thinks that this will be his breakout year? He is 24 now so he has to start living up to all the hype!! Is he worth the punt over someone like McEvoy??

News is from over here in the west is they're not rushing him so might not be a round 1 certainty.  He played a half of footy last night and looked like himself crashing packs and taking marks, but I think they are being cautious with him.

He'll play in the intra club next week. He should be right for round 1

I've got him in. If he fails in round one he will be turned into McEvoy probably. If he can score say 70ish in round one, avoid a vest and look fit then I will back him in for round 2 and onwards.

spoke to the press after the practice match:
-feeling pretty good, no soreness post game
-just need another hitout leading into rd1 (the intraclub next week)
-aiming for 80-100 mins in the intraclub (little more in the ruck)

Id be staying away from him until he has strung a few game together. He has had osteitis pubis and its hard to shake the only thing that really fixes it is rest, i had it and had to have almost 2 years out of football, he missed alot of pre season so that would most likely mean its not 100% right. Heard a few rumors over here that he is far from a certain starter for round 1

He didn't miss a lot of preseason though, he's been running since November. The only thing was that he hasn't been training with the main group to limit the loading of his groins.

Big difference between running and training with the main group

Agree there is a difference but its not as though he has a missed a chunk of preseason and doing nothing.
