Atm my last three backs are McDonald, Martin and Laidler. What do people think of this expensive bench? personally i am happy to go with it knowing they will all play games and if the cirtcumstance did come up that they didnt get games i can easily trade one out and make 60k. What are peoples thoughts on this different setup?

I'm not sold on Laidler's JS. Langdon has probably more chances of playing regularly at the pies. Otherwise Sam Shaw and Jimmy Webster are solid options, but you pay for their JS

It depends on how it affects the rest of your team.

Think it's more important that the bench in all positions are playing regular games you still have to generate cash so you just have to make changes backline included , JS is the most important thing for me and if the players are dearer so be it

Cheers guys,

Def: Mitchell, Simpson, Hurn, Suckling, Webster, McDonald (Martin,Laidler)

Mids: Ablett, Watson,  Murphy, Beams, Thomas, Tyson, Michie, Polec (Ellis,Dunstan)

Rucks: Mumford Sandilands (Derickx, Currie)

forwards: Dangerfield, Martin, Franklin, Pavlich, Caddy, Rohan (McCarthy, Kennedy-Harris)

$12,800 in bank

That's the team atm the only one I would want to upgrade would probably be Watson > Pendles but can't Afford it if I downgrade Laidler so don't really mind it's not like Watson is a useless or anything haha

The only line that is weakened is defence with Suckling at D4, prefer him at D5.

The rest of your team looks great!

Would be very wary of Langdons JS, if Seedsman can get back by rnd 2, as pies have 2 weeks between their first 2 matches would expect him to come straight in, likely at the expense of Langdon.

Cheers mate, yea that's why . Have gone on the rookies. Even if I downgraded both Martin and Laidler I wouldn't have enough to upgrade Webster so I've decided to spend the extra cash and have four solid rookies in the backs.

I'm having similar thoughts. I like the defence you've posted and if Georgiou doesn't get upgraded/play I'll do something similar.

I think Langford and Langdon will be pretty good options if they can get a round 1 spot, both should be able to keep their spots long enough to make their money if they can do this
