Although Franklin scored 2 goals was he looking like someone who should get a place in our side or was it like 2 goals 2 kicks thats it?

GoLions

Finals score 12.14.86 to 8.11.59, Swans won

Lions really need to use the ball better when going forward, and missed quite a few shots on goal that should've been kicked

Stats: Moloney 34 possessions, Rich 28, Redden, 26, Lester 23, Aish & Mayes, 22, Hanley & Harwood 20, Adcock, Golby, Zorko 18, Rockliff 17

McVeigh 34 possessions, Kennedy 26, Malceski 25, Bird & K.Jack 22, Mitchell 18

Buddy was on the bench most of the 2nd half I think

Tom Rockliff getting followed by Smith and not handling it well by the looks of it? Bit concerned
Pretty sure Rocky spent a fair bit of the game up forward from what I read following the live chat for the game, which is a bit of a concern. Hopefully it was just to give the younger kids more of a run in the middle.

A few notes: Rohan in midfield 2nd half; Zorko lifted 2nd half; McVeigh was everywhere
And yeah, Buddy was benched after half time.

Anthonyyyy

waws there a reason he was benched or was it just to give the younger players ago ?

Goals: Kennedy, McGlynn, Pyke, Franklin all booted 2. Singles to McVeigh, Jetta, Reid, Cunningham

Yeah, certainly not because of injury :)
1/2: 8 disp 2 goals.
If we extend that, then he got 16 disp and 4 goals, which probably means he nearly toned up. Conjecture I know, but still :)

So Franklin still should be in my side no injuries or worries ?

As long as you understand what you are getting.  In any match you could get a performance like today or a performance like the NAB match against WCE.  That's the nature of the beast with KP players.  As long as you factor that in when looking at your scores each week your fine.  If you think his best is worth some weeks like he served up last week, then go for it.

GoLions

Some interesting stats...

Lions had 371 possessions to the Swans 367 ... Lions 95 marks to Swans 78 ... Lions 44 hard ball gets to Swans 42 ... Lions 54 hitouts to Swans 41 ... Lions 41 inside 50s to Swans 43

We just couldn't hit a target

He had something like 28 hitouts IIRC, West had 21. Leuey killed it in the 2nd half after a quiet first half. Not sure how many possies he picked up

Ok thanks man, 21 hit-outs to West is slightly worrying. Although 28 isn't too bad for Leuey, as long as Leuey can continue to rack up the possessions around the ground, kick a goal or two with the added time spent up fwd and consistently hit 30 hit-outs, he should go 100+.
