Not happy with my ruck combo, feel i need a 3rd instead of 2 rookies. Am I on the right track or off the rails??

Def: I haven't seen KK, so be wary.
Mid: strong if Murph and Daisy fire. I'm not sold on Martin though, better choices IMO that are cheaper
RUC: don't like Dixon at R1
Fwd: caddy at F4 shows you're a bit weak. I have caddy at F5

Not bad but can be improved. Possibly go 4 premo and 4 rook in mid to free up cash for rucks and fwds

Deeeep mids, that's where all the cash cows are!! Need to curb the mids and forwards for a bit more balance IMO, not a bad looking team though

DEF - 1 decent reliable scorer short I think. Def rookies are generally your weakest on field players and can make a big difference if you can avoid too many of them

MID - given this year's lack of rookies elsewhere, I think you are too strong here, and as a result, have left yourself short elsewhere. I understand the Daisy mania, but I feel he is a luxury we can't afford since he is not a keeper and is really an expensive cash cow. Yes he will give you more points short term than say Tyson, Michie, Polec, Ellis, Dunstan etc but the difference will be less than the points you can gain by adding another decent defender and avoiding too many back rookies.

RUCKS - Dixon is pretty expensive and you have to wonder whether he'll be able to keep it up with GC rucks back on field this year. Too risky for his price for me to consider.

FWD - Fine.

The other general comment I have is that the bulk of your rookies are really cheap. This will probably mean they won't play. You may well end up needing to grab more expensive 'rookies' like Rohan, Bennedy, Polec etc and you'll have to sacrifice some of your 'btter' players.

Dudes, loving the feedback keep it coming. Im gonna do a tweak here and there. Daisy OUT is good. Doc you are right re too few cash cows in the mids. My strategy was to load up with mids and premos and hold most of them for the year.

Coz im a rookie I can now see that straegty is fraught with danger!! We have 30 trades for a reason, dont be afraid to use them.

Righto been up all night chewing the stats. A few changes. Swallow too risky, gone with Grimes. (Am I mad?) Sucklingpig to Jimmy Webster - cash generation and thinking saints structure may benefit webster with no steven, hayes, montagna tag target. Fuller no good, Langdon may play with no Heater and Reid.
Libba - Cotch purely gut feel.
Murph - Daisy cash cash cash.
Ive gone missy higgins - still scratching me head on this, purely on 1 week 30 pos effort.
