I'm just throwing this out there - Webster over Suckling?

Bank the 70k, and Webster should have rock solid JS, coupled with the ball spending a fair bit of time down his way

??

I tend to differ with JS

Dempster, Fisher, Gilbert to return

the inclusions of Josh Bruce and Luke Delaney

along with Geary (some mid time), Roberton, Simpkin and Wright

Webster over Griffiths RD?

Yeah I would go Webster over Griffith as Griffith's last 4 seasons have resulted in 4 games, 1 game, 9 games, 5 games

I'm seriously considering dumping Suckling in favour of Webster as I truly believe that they can average similar, although Suckers does have a higher ceiling, but then again they are going to be needed to be upgraded later in the year either way, and that extra 70k is very handy

Yeah that def makes sense. I'm hardly a guru on St Kilda

He's a tough pick.should play most of the year but then you have those saints players listed.. Handy price..

nopies4u

I had to play him at the end of last year... NO! he might average 55 - 60, look at the teams he played against in the pre season...

Anthonyyyy

I have him in my team but he has had a very easu first two games back but im going for uniqness in my team

felsty

We play Port on Saturday. Should give you a better picture but I can tell you his JS will be fine!

Twice the price of a rookie. If 3 cheap rookies are named then won't bother, but could b a good contingency plan.
Leaving my decision on f5 till late. Can downgrade there if extra money is needed for Webster.

Had him last year and didn't play enough to do my side any good. But I watched him very closely and he is quality.
His job security will b very good I reckon.
Exact type of afl quality player st kilda need to pump games into.
Looks to have put on some weight from last year and looks like st kildas designated half back kicker.

He is making me feel safer about a lack of rookies. Backline and forward.
Seriously considering if needed

With this thread and the Cotchin v Pendles one.
I Downgraded Pendles to Cotchin and Upgraded Laidler at D6 to Webster.
I rkn Websters JS and DE is much better.
If your worried about 'look who he played against in the Nab' >
Saints first games are vs Melbourne and GWS... Then WC - should easily make a good price rise after those 3.
Then Crows, Dons, Brissy, Hawks and Blues and GC before their bye.
Fairly easy first half of the season and can see him making at least over 100K before RD10 which ill upgrade him to a RD8 byer after RD9.

Stil don't know if i got the balls not to start Pendles so may put him back to Laidler or another named rookie and add Pendles back in  8)

Taking a gamble. With Having Suckling at d4 and Webster at d5. If they both go well I'm laughing!

same.

webs priced at 40ish, and suckers priced at 60, if they can go between 75-80 (realistically) they'll jump to 400-430K.
thats a increase of 160K each with great job security.

Shhhh! Me too. Grabbed a Pav instead of a spud in the fwds whilst I was at it. Having more $ thanks to Suckling at D4 made it possible.

Unless you can find a better rookie option you can't go wrong at 240k, the ball will be down his end a lot also.
