What are people thoughts on this guy? 2 scores of 90 odd in both NAB games playing off half back. Great disposal eff % is he on anyones watchlist and can he hold a place in the saints best 22?

Played 11 games in his first year last year with a top score of 85

Priced at $240k

Keeper27

in the saints best 22
IMO should score around the same as other popular choices in that price range.

Suckers, R Shaw... 75-85.

mudgee

Pretty high on my radar at the moment only because the lack of backline rookies this year.
Any Saints fans out there that might be able to tell us a little more about the guy?

He may come into the picture in part 2 of round 1 if the rookies everyone are relying on don't get a gig , but he is a defender around the price range and yes I just modified my post thought he was a mid

kelba

He is listed as a defender... hence why he has caught my interest.

Yes he is but listed as a mid in Fan Footy my mistake

Was trying to keep this bloke a secret. Yeah, he is in my team. There is rumours that he is Richo's favourite and I watched the first half of his game on Saturday and he was everywhere. Will be in there best 22 and I'm willing to take the punt.

Jroo

He'll get plenty of game time. He should make a bit of cash, so I reckon he's one of the best options for that price, but I'd probably rather pick Laidler/McDonald and save the $$$.

shaker

Another thing to think about before picking him is that the Saints look like having a very tough year and will affect his and other players scores at the moment Dunstan is the only one that I will pick only a shortage of cash will bring him into the picture

Overall defenders have a better disposal efficiency than other positions anyway.  I like him, but I feel that R Shaw (although slightly more expensive) is under valued and I feel has a higher ceiling than Jimmy.  There is also Sam Fisher and Sam Gilbert get over their injuries, so JS might also be a factor.

auscoyote

Thought of him but gone with laidler and the cash. Allows me to get another keeper in the fwd line where rookies are lacking

eaglesman

for christ sake ... delete this thread now!!!!

people need to learn to shut their traps

Has a good kick and will get plenty of game time.. Looks like we're trying to develop him into the designated kicker of half back. I would pick him only if you think he will outscore suckling

RaisyDaisy

I'm just throwing this out there - Webster over Suckling?

Bank the 70k, and Webster should have rock solid JS, coupled with the ball spending a fair bit of time down his way
