Seems solid on all lines but I don't think jack Martin is worth the cash.. I so think you could spend money better elsewhere by not starting with Goldstein

Defence: Solid. Possibly look at Clurey instead of Laidler/Fuller. 6/10
Midfield: Martin hasn't really proved much yet and his price is quite high. Maybe Dom Tyson or Matt Crouch 6/10
Rucks: Strong Goldstein is pricy, but also secure on a good average. Lobb hasn't played this preseason. 8/10
Forwards: Solid. Wingard is risky, but could payoff. Don't know much on B Kennedy so cant really say much here. Honeychurch unlikely to play. 7/10
Total 27/40

DEF: the players are good, though i think it's 1 rookie too many. 8/10
MID: almost identical to mine! no need for an expensive rookie on the bench 9/10
RUC: solid, get an MPP instead of lobb 9/10
FOR: very very risky. wingard could struggle in second year, wright is a massive risk and i doubt kennedy will play round 1. 6/10

Overall nice side but i think the forward line just needs a couple more safer options.

Yes but it was his breakout year. Players very often drop off after their breakout.

Some examples of players in their 3rd or 4th year are:

Matthew Wright, Shane Savage and Lewis Jetta.

Many have fallen off after breaking out. Wingard is too risky i reckon.

as I've said to many others I'm not sold on swallow because the evidence just isn't there to justify his mid price,  also laidler had a not bad nab game but he's an average player trying to break into Sydney, I don't like that! Other than that I really like your team

1st off, Swallow is a good price, which i heard he will be also be moving into the midfield + he was pick 1 in the 2010 which proves he has good potential, I also heard he's improved a lot over the off season.

2. Who is a better option than Laidler

frogjumper

I heard the same thing about Swallow. Im willing to take the risk, as are a lot of people I know of.

I Don't see many choices in backline better than Laidler. No rookie really has JS. Almost have to wait for the squads so we have a better idea of who may play.
