So there has been all types of threads addressing the cheap forward options and I just wanted to have one place were all players can be discussed

Shaun Higgins
Jesse Hogan
Ben Kennedy
Alex Fasolo
Gary Rohan

And to a lesser extent

Jed Lamb
Tom Boyd
Robin Nahas
Kieren Harper
Jack Billings
Nathan Bock
Sam Blease

Lets discuss who we start with and why.

We'll right now i Have Higgins sitting at F6...  So I guess I'm out of this discussion?

Have Rohan sitting at F7 atm though with JKH being the only rookie looking likely for round 1

Grufflez

Billings not ready.
Don't like any of these options..another rookie mid and Stack Those Forwards boyz

_wato

Kennedy had another good game today in the practice game against Gold Coast. Seriously considering.

Have Rohan at F6 for now though.

LOL OK fair enough - I did have Higgins at F6 myself, I guess I excluded him initially thinking he was too much for F6 and more suited to F5, but I'll edit the OP and add him to the list

Might be an idea to outline who both your F5 and 6's are if both are from this player pool

I currently have Higgins, Kennedy, Rohan and JHK taking out F5-8. Not sure if too weak but I need cash in other lines

Fasolo didn't play today so to me, that more or less puts a line through him (Personally never really considered him anyway)

Kennedy had 19 touches again, I believe that's 19 in all 3 games for him

Kennedy and Higgins for mine at this stage

I guess it really depends on your other lines, but mine is looking the same and I'm thinking a restructure maybe in order:

For example: Danger, Dusty, MID-price, MID-price, MID-price, Rookie (Rookie, Rookie)

I feel like the odds would be heavily against someone ever getting 3 mid-pricers right... just putting it out there

Too many, but must admit finiding it harder than ever to stick to a premo and rookie structure this year, the new teams coming in spoiled us and now it is gettibg much harder, which makes it pretty interesting really.

Agree with you again dmac - I have always been a premo and rookie guy, always avoided mid pricers but with the lack of fwd and def rookies, coupled with having to spend more money for the better mid rookies, theres just no way around it - gotta pick a few mid pricers and hope they go up enough so it wont cost much to upgrade them later to a premium

I think Higgins, Bennedy and Rohan are the only real genuine options, but I will be doing my best to not pick Rohan if possible, just think his overrated and wont average more then 60, being a real slow burning cow
