Ive been seeing some people saying Rond 1 free hit team can anyone explain what this means haha?

Mr.Craig

There are unlimited trades prior to Round 2.

Apparently rookies playing round 1 will go up in value before round 2 though so it could be fraught with danger

Prices will change at the conclusion of Round 2. ;)

Mr.Craig is correct.

It means you can pick whoever and use your full salary cap to maximise your score for R1 and then change it completely before R2 lockout.

AFL fantasy Terms:
"Player Price changes will occur after the Round 2 (previously it was after Round 3), rewarding those who get their Player selections right from the start.
Due to the split Round in Round 1 there will unlimited Trades up until the Round 2 lockout. Note that your Round 1 Score will still contribute to your Overall ranking and thus your ability to win the Overall prize."

It means that you should definitely play underpriced premos. You can even play injury-prone premos. I'll say no more...
