pretty happy with my team at the moment ,,, my forwards and defense (excluding rookies/injuries) pretty much set

just have a bit of left over cash to spend somewhere and wanted peoples opinions on where to spend it

I will add i have a bye structure of 8/8/14 right now which surprises me

currently have michie ellis dunstan crouch robertson .... considering picking both beams and polec for crouch and robertson if these 2 are not named or no other cheap reliable bench rookie option named, that is a lot of money on the bench i know but they have shown a bit

with that bye structure i could afford to have a pendles, selwood, swan but it would be at the expense of my love child nat fyfe(bye round 10) and my m3(bye round 9), both i believe will outscore another round 8 bye in cotchin ... i have even contemplated starting both swan and jelwood (bye structure would 10 7 13) but that is probably a little too bye crazy

so would ya get both those rookies?
or one and jelwood/swan? ... really would hate losing fyfe

You still keen on B.Ellis or couldn't you justify a midfield spot on him?

148k Deposit on a house...rookies if cheapies are not named R1 >upgrade better Premos

Robertson may not get games early. Fighting for a spot with Aish and Lester IMO, and I think Lester may just be ahead. However if guys like Lester, Beams, Mayes don't do well early, he'd probably be the next one to come in.
Crouch I don't think will get many games early on either, tough midfield to break into at the Crows.

Regarding the premiums you're considering bringing in, Jelwood may not be at his very best to start with, and Swan isn't as good in SC in comparison to someone like Pendles, who is a SC god. Think it's probably better to get your rookies right, as you will need their cash generation for trading throughout the season.

At this point I'd be inclined to go Robbo/Crouch to Beams/Polec

i dont mind Bellis at all ... but just at that awkward price ... i saw enough from daisy the other night to justify picking him over ellis save 100k and i think will average similar .. if i was going a mid priced r1 i would definitely look at him again but gonna stick with my nic nat/sandi combo cos that is what i said in the Sunday times Newspaper

absolute pendles is the far better Scer ...

ok GL .. I currently have roughead at F3 ,, if i downgraded him to any forward under him(ideally want a bye 9 forward as roughead was the only bye9 i had atm) i could get in both polec and pendles (crouch stays at m10)
.. what would u do then?

Possibly Gunston? I've had him in and out of F3 throughout the entire pre-season. JJK could also be a decent forward option, and Eagles have a pretty good draw early on. If it wasn't for his poor finish at the end of last year, he would've been one of the top forwards.

I have had JJK 80% of the preseason ... I like the look of him  ... I am just worried about picking pendles as the draw early does look tough for mine and i suspect the pies to lose more than they win which hasnt happened for a while

Pendles averaged a touch over 129 against the teams he plays before his bye
