Hey all, let me know your thoughts!

Mitchell, Thompson, Swallow, Watts, Suckling, L.McDonald.  (B. Martin, Langdon)

Pendles, Rockliff, Libba, DBeams, CBeams, Thomas, X. Ellis, Dunstan     (Cripps, Polec)

Sandi, Hickey.   (Derickx, Thurlow)

Danger, Dusty, Franklin, Hale, M.Wright, Rohan.    (S. White, JKH)

Obviously rookies will prob change based on who's picked rd 1 but rate/give advice

Cheers :)

Edit: ~13k left over, figure that's ok as most mid rooks I may have to trade for after round 2 will be cheaper than the ones I already have!

Not a fan of Watts :P Rest of defence is good though
No Ablett... but Pendles and Rocky will destroy, so could work out. Keep in mind though GAJ averages around 140 against his teams before the bye IIRC
Hickey may be a good stepping stone to a fallen ruck, not for me though. Prefer to have 1 premium ruck in there at the very least
I assume Hale is backup for your rucks? Hmmm...not sure on that, probably a better option than Dixon though. Wright IMO will be back to tagging duties every now and then which will hurt his scores, so don't be too convinced by his NAB performances as nobody tags in NAB :P

Not bad.

Missing Ablett?? in MIDS

Get rid of watts and bring in Everitt from Carlton will be a better scorer and pick.

Sandi good choice for rucks, not confident on Hickey

I have too respectfully completely disagree with that! Keep Watts as he could be a top 10 backman this yr... I'm not going to do the big sell on him but i think he will be a inspired pick this yr.

I like the set up of this team but you saying that i don't like Hale

Also have a big think about getting in 1 or 2 of the Dees mid rookies in Tyson and Michie. I have a feeling that after tonight Tyson may make his way into a few more teams

Watts won't make top 10 :o :o but that's just my Opinion and I am sure others would agree on this, watts is $411,100 and averaged 76.22 while Everitt is $342,000 and averaged 63.41 now I would be happy with that, as Everitt has moved to a  new side so will be fired up, watts has had his chances.....Everitt is also cheaper by down grading watts you could upgrade a better Mid or Forward, but like i said that's just my opinion.

In the forward line Franklin and Wright will be the dangers, Franklin has had his time and i think josh caddy will be a better player to choose over him due to geelong now having to bring more young guns in with these inuries they have.

With all this cash left over you should be a to score a few more better players around the Mid.

Good luck :)

Wandererz makes a couple of good points.

Watts is underpowered and probably overpriced for the possibility of becoming a keeper. Most Top scoring players come from better teams.

Wright is not..right.

Get Ablett. Just cannot see the benefit of not starting with him.

Hale will see less time on the ball with Big Boy lurking there. Might affect his ball exposure. He will also get a taller defender which might make it harder for him to take his straight up stretch without jumping much style of marks. Buddy gone but Gunston moving up will still leave him with 3rd defender but now opposition coaches can use a taller guy on him.

Expensive mid bench.

Good luck.

Franklin to Zorko, wright to caddy, then pick up a Premo defender for either watts or swallow. Hanley, Simpson or Enright would be the pick of the bunch.
