Thanks very much RD. I didn't start this thread as a Buddy knock just wanted to enquire about his normality. But must confess it opened up some interesting points of view and glad I did. Cheers and best wishes to all. Can't be unhappy with an average around a 100 for a player of his price. Thanks all.  ;)

Buddy's NAB form means nothing.

The real question is can he increase his output back up to 100ppg playing in a new team, with more forward options and one that has a significantly different style of play to the Hawks?

Sure he's getting silver service delivery into the forward 50 but is it THAT much better than the Hawks? We also know the Swans tend to share the load in the mids so why would that be different up forward?

I'm still 50/50, it's either Dusty or Buddy for me at the stage...

It never ceases to amaze me how much people put their faith in Preseason matches.  Buddy has not lost the talent overnight just because he changed jumpers.

2 things imo contributed to his low score last night.

1. Conditions were attrocious
2, Swans did not have their best team out.

A better guide maybe next weeks practice match when both Brisbane and Sydney will be close to full strength.

In saying the above my only concern and I say with tongue in cheek is Sydney big enough for the Tippett Franklin egos.

Currently have Lance at F5, he would have to be in the mix for a top 6 forward position     8)

Just watched highlights then I don't think he played that bad at all.. Atrocious game and didn't look like he got anywhere near the delivery that he would normally get. Liked his attack on the ball and the man as well. Few really good tackles. Not going to lie I took him out after reading this thread but after checking out the footage I'm holding at least until the next NAB cup game..

I think your forwards should be more stacked.  :o

Yes u hit the nail on the head. NAB FORM means nothing but his role within the team structure and whether that equates to 100 ppg IS the question.
I'd pick Dusty over him for sure. If he makes my team it won't be at the expense of Martin.
