Bad news for the Saints, hope he recovers well. Foot soreness which has recently flared up, could be out for longer than 6 weeks though. More to come...

But seriously though, no one likes to see a player injured, and especially one of that quality. And it really sucks for my WXV team.

Now saying he will miss 8-10 weeks

"The 23-year-old has a fracture in his right sesamoid bone and is expected to miss between 8-10 weeks."

"While the injury isn't stress related and is the result of a training incident on Thursday, Steven will be unable to train for at least a month."

He will not require surgery though.

yeah mate.. hopefully get some other players to come back, and maybe even develop a few others.

Really excited to see Tom Curren develop this season. He's got the Kieran Jack in him. Run, Bash, Crash. Started as a tagger as well and can see him becoming a really good player for us in the future
