Hey lads,

Reading all the posts about everyones M3 spot people would love Cotchy or Watson but are staying clear due to the Round 8 bye and ASATA BS etc etc.
I change my M3 daily and want peoples thoughts on Priddis.

PRO'S:
- 120 SC last week against Freo with 9 tackles (yes its only NAB)
- Round 8: While Pendles, ablett and .co are on your bench. West Coast (Priddis) play GWS.
- West Coast's Start: Round 1: Doggies, Round 2: Melbourne, Round 3: Saints  :o
- Mr Consistant 110SC per game.

Seriously considering and great POD at this point  8)

Would not be the worst assuming you have D Beams at M4.

West coast have the nice early draw as well as you say. Priddis whilst not giving you high scores will be consistent and if you view him as a keeper in this reagrd will be a sound M3 averaging 110 - 120 ppg.

I have Griffen atm. I'm stumped on m3 aswell.

petefisker

Yeah Beams M4 Daisy M5 and my sexy POD at M6 before the rookies start M7.
I can't see a solid reason not to start him and saves me 50-60K and great for BYES.

Yes he is consistent but not 110 per week consistent.

The problem with Priddis is there is absolutely no upside. What you see is what you get. He rarely goes big.

Take out his concussion game last year and he averaged 105.8. I think that's the best you're going to get. An average like that is not what you want from a keeper MID, even at M8.

There are much better options that a touch more expensive and don't have a round 8 bye either that could push a 120 average this year. I suggest picking one of those.

Not the worst idea I've ever heard, particularly with West Coast's draw in mind.

He averaged 114 in both 2011 and 2012 (if you take out his injury game), which you would be hoping he can replicate this year. He also hasn't scored below 80 in a game since 2010.

A possibility, but unless he can push 115 I think there might be better options.

Bully

Champion Data hate Priddis with a passion, they will knock off 5-10 points every match, even when he polls in the Brownlow. I would only look at him if he dips below 500k

Jackross10

Who do you guys think is the best m3.

Ablett Pendles ....... Beams Thomas Polec Michie Ellis.  Dunstan Crouch

633k !

Have Griffen atm

Liking the feedback, but yeah i do recall CD dogging him over the years.
But due to my current structure, which free'd up money grabbing him and upgrading a mid pricer to Gunston up forward.
I can't go higher than Priddis at the moment.
If you can find me a better M3/M4 mid that's is LESS than $544K go for it :)

With west coasts start, still think i'll take the punt and start with him and after round 8, based on how he's going, upgrade to Cotch.

Sabretooth Tigers

 ;D
My mids ATM are :-
G Ablett,   T Cotchin,   M Priddis,   D Beams,   D Thomas,   V Michie,   J Polec,   X Ellis,   D Sheed,   L Dunstan.
My positives on Priddis are the early draw and the bye factor. But I'm taking a slightly different view on things though.
He should score pretty well early and I'm interested to see how the captaincy, hard early draw and the Crowley factor influence Pendlebury's price over the early part of the season. I have $101,600 Sal cap left, that added to Priddis's  PRESENT  price equals
$646,100 leaving me only$37,000 short of Pendlebury's current price. Don't need much in the way of price changes to swap them over and of course there is always the possibility that Priddis may develope in to a keeper. Can't see myself losing anything by having him at M3. Cheers and best of luck mate.    ;)

I'm prob starting Priddis. I've stated my case before but here it is again -

Great draw and previous scores against first opponents (Saints,Dogs,Dees,GWS etc)

Usually averages 110 and is up there with the top 10 mids (concussion past 2 years)

Hardly ever gets tagged

I expect huge improvement from WC in 2014 - Massive injury list last year - were up there with people's prediction for top4 start of last season.

Super consistent hardly ever goes below 85.

Scores from SC finals (played him over FYFE and JACK) 116, 88, 129, 120 pretty good average for someone some think is not a premium.

Pick Priddis up cheap after his annual concussion

Priddis is locked in my team! Bloke is a rock and you know you will always get a decent score. On Pendlebury and Crowley, there is a bloke named Dane Swan who will probably get tagged first...

Pendles is 10x more damaging than Swan
