just want to see what peoples opinions are on the best rookies to have on the bench at this stage are, i currently have laidler and griffiths, griffiths is at 135,500 and with Maric being out early in the season i think they will play him? if not who else would you recommend around that 135k mark

Seems like the toughest area to fill and think we just have to wait till round 1/round 2 teams are anounced to see who is worth picking.  Laidler is in mine, and I have guys over 135k.  Giorgio or whatever his name is from Melb seems like he is impressing.  Doggies young def aren't even getting a run in the NAB so they don't look great either.

Griffiths definitely worth a look with Maric out. ;)

I think laidler will be in most teams!

Giorgio or whatever is still a rookie im fairly sure and i dont know if melbourne has room on their list or not.

Fuller who sounded good hasn't seen a game yet which is a worry

Not sure about Griffiths i think he could see a few early games considering no Maric and is very cheap

Sam shaw could be a good pick because i reckon Sando has a man crush on him and wants to play him although he is a little more expensive (197,700)

Tom Cutler had one good NAB challenge game except his second game was nothing to be happy about and his JS is quite shaky

Tom clurey has been nothing but solid in both of his games his JS again is the worry and i think he will need to rely on good performances to stay in the team

Any others?

LRT at $146k is one of the better options in my opinion

Jackson Ramsay from Collingwood? No Seedsman, no Shaw, Williams might be off to prison???

i would recommend having a few as possible at this point....I am loading my backline up and partially avoiding this problem I hope

It'd probably be more like a delisting, rather than an LTI
I guess Collingwood would probably try for both

S Shaw at 197k is the best bet, then LRT, then griffiths I reckon. Can't see Laidler, Cutler, Fuller or Giorgio (rookie listed) playing many games early.

Melbourne recently LTI'ed Aiden Riley so pretty sure they have a vacant spot on the senior list.

R.Griffen

I've had Kurt Aylett since I first made my team and watched him in the NAB but didn't get much game time so he's also out of the Question I assume

MinistryOfFootball

Mcdonald is a 100% lock at 240k my other rookies are Clurey, Georgiou and Langford
Not too sure on Georgiou and Langford

Jigsaw

Mcdonald, Langford, Tippet, Ashby, Lailder

These are the 5 on my radar atm. Mcdonald the one that is already locked for me.

I think better downgrading another line; rucks or forwards to ensure you have 8 playing defenders. There is a number in the $200k area and once you make money from mid downgrades, then upgrade backs
