Is this too over the top in terms of looking for cash generation? i feel like there are so many good rookie options in the mids, & Daisy should average 95+ as well, there's a lot of coin to be made. Would a midfield like this be to much:

Ablett, Rockliff, Beams, Daisy, Tyson, Polec, Michie, Ellis (Dunstan, Crouch)

Thoughts?

Bully

I've thought about but i'd be more inclined to forget about Daisy and start with 4 midfield keepers.

colmullet

been playing with this setup a bit to, will run with it if their is only 2 back and forward rookies named round 1

kilbluff1985

nah i think you need him at M5 if at all

i don't have him currently only going 4 mid premos Pendles, Watson, Rockliff, Beams cause i have a set and forget defense and 120k in the bank for first midfield upgrade to a round 8 bye premo after round 8

Ricochet

Not gonna lie, am seriously considering it

I ran a rookie midfield team a couple of years back. I will say two things:

1) prepare to be behind the pack early and come home very strong
2) go for it!

This slow will not work if

1: you are interested in overall
2: you are in a decent league - you'll miss finals.

Buddha is my hero - take the middle path. Om.

Depends how you use the cash saved. There's a number of underpriced mid premiums in Watson, Cotchin, Rocky as well which you will initially be missing out on. I'm going with 6 rookies in my mids as well, but I have Rocky instead of Daisy.

RaisyDaisy

I played around with this option and every other line looks so good and near complete, but as some of the other guys have said you will start the season slow, so chasing overall and making league finals could be risked - but I am still considering it because the rest of my team looks so good with this mid lineup

Agree with the doc. Middle ground. Everything in moderation.
Don't load up on rooks, don't load up on prems.
5/5 or 4/6
If u want daizy he takes a premiums spot in ur five.

jfitty

I'm still trying to work out the best spot for Daisy in the mids.

At this stage deciding between Daisy & Cotchin or Tyson & Pendles  :o

Considering shafting Daisy all together. To be honest I never considered him a worthy mid selection as I always thought he would be a forward. But when he wasn't a forward I felt like I had to have him anyway.
I can just see him being an awkward one to offload. In my mind theres almost no chance he will average enough to become a keeper and as a cash cow I think it will be a slow burn that is hard to work out when to sell and when to keep.
I had Mundy last year and he provided the same headache all season
