Daisy or Polec

I have had daisy in my side for ages at M6 and he went alright the other night. Think he should score 95+ ave and was going to leave him in the team for last mid upgrade or even bench him in the end. However Polec has been impressive and could go 80-85 saving me 169k and there is a lot of mid rooks looking good. Downgrading Thomas would allow me to turn a crouch to a michie/aish/beams on the bench thus generating more money with higher scores but this could be a waste if crouch fires for less $$$.

This is also changing mid structure to 5 guns 5 rooks but there seems like there is money to be had with these mid rookies scoring well.
If it gave me enough cash to upgrade R1 to minson i would definitely pull the trigger but unfortunateley it doesn't. At any rate Polec is looking a bit like a must have but should it be at the expense of Daisy?

Anyone else having the same delemma

You're really paying for job security here. Polec might be a bit vesty to start off with, especially if (with his previous attitude issues) they make him "earn" his spot.
If Carlton think they're contending Daisy will play maximum minutes I believe.

i was happy not picking daisy until i saw him play the other night ... made me swap boak and bring daisy back in ....

now i have the issue whether daisy is better option than one of these rookies ....potentially i am going from a boak to a rookie thought which is a big change ... have cox as r1 atm

Haha, yeah i was wanting to stack the mids this year as i haven't done that for many years.
Beams,Watson,Cotchin,Daisy all underpriced. Damn these good scoring rookies ;D

i still think stacking the mids is a good option ... at one stage i had jack martin at m8 but that was when was fielding 2 rookie fwds and backs and lobbe ruck ... but just cant happen with a lack of rookie options in other areas

I dont think my team will be complete until the start of the final game of the first round. It was looking really settled for weeks (apart from bench rooks) up until this Polec/Daisy headache and Hibberd going down.

i think hmac could be another one to throw a spanner in the works ... if he comes out and plays anything like he can then we will be forced to pick him ... if this happens welcome back stacked midfield for me

Yeah, but if a few of these mid rooks Aish,Beams,Robertsen,Polec,Tyson,Michie,Cripps,Ellis,Sheed,Crouch (might of missed some) start getting full games from rd 1 and scoring well you are missing out on a lot of fast cash generation that your Fwd/Def rookies wont give you. :-\ My head hurts doing the math ;D Gotta luv coaching :)

Nope, was planning on keeping daisy for the bench in the end. I think his ankles will hold up

Because he won't average 110+, which is kinda what you want from your mids (or very close to that). He could be great bench cover, but I'm going to try and finish my best 22 before I worry about what my bench will look like at the end of the year.

Big call here, Daisy to average 110+ and become a keeper and be perfect for your M6-8.

I think Daisy will average 100 and be good to sit in your team until your final mid upgrade, best case scenario is that you keep him for bench cover
