I saw Nic Nat has not been named for the second NAB Challenge match, meaning he surely must play the last to warrant selection. But even if he does, will he be right? Simpson has been quoted saying he is no certainity for round 1 and if he does playin rounds one or two he won't exactly be firing on all cynlinders... A risk worth taking? Thoughts?

Surely this means he is not over his groin problems sounds like he will have another interrupted season , as I had him last year and it affected his scoring badly will be staying away

The season is only just over two weeks away just about every player has at least one hit out in NAB the ones that have not are injured or overcoming injuries will be steering clear of all of them , fit players only for me  ;)

Massive derp on my behalf, I completely ignored you Rico :P

Even if he does tear it up in the practice game I'll be a little nervous selecting him round 1 based on his very sketchy pre-season.

I wouldnt play such an important player in the nab challenge either. If he is named round 1 then he's in my team, simple as that.
At his price it wouldnt matter if he takes a couple of games to get going, he will still be one of the top scoring ruckman come seasons end

I'm thinking the same as you, but what about the option of starting with Goldy and Sandi for example, and the turning Sandi into NicNat later, that way we get to see a bit of NicNat first before we jump on blind

Absolutely an option but money is tight and I cant find a spare 100k to get Goldy over Nicnat at this stage
