I know this is a while away but this could pose a serious problem for the club, their will not doubt be 17 other AFL clubs swarming to pick up all of Dangerfield, Sloane and Tex! With free agency now, players are prone to putting off contract talks off until the years end of their contracts and I can see this unfolding out the same for Adelaide.

The real issue is that all three could easily be offered over 1 million dollar contracts, lucky for us they are all restricted free agents and therefore we can match every rival clubs offer. Unfortunately, I don't think that Adelaide can afford to pay 1 million to each player.

The best solution is that Noble gets all three to ink pen to contract before the years end. More realistically, hopefully we can sign up both Sloane and Tex, because I believe both are extremely loyal to the club.

Dangerfield for me is the most likely of being drawn away. Though I think it will depend on whether or not Dangerfield is made captain in 2015 or if VB retains it. Either way 2015 is looming as a very interesting year for the Crows.

Yeah but no, we'll have Bryce Gibbs and Ryan Griffen though thanks ;D

Mr.Craig

I wouldn't be surprised to see McKernan used as trade bait at the end of this season.

As for the rest, well the new free agent rules are only a possibility right now but even if they do come into effect I think the remaining players should be able to be retained. I'm sure the Crows will try to lock as many up as they can this year, just like other teams in a similar situation.

Didn't he put himself up for trade bait (walk out on the club) at the end of last season and no one wanted him?

IMO I can't see any of Dangerfield, Sloane or Walker leaving the Crows?

Nige

I don't think any of these guys will leave, but if any of them were... I reckon Danger would be the most likely.

Nah Tex would be the most likely to go join his bff at the dees.

Tex playing next to Cloke works... 8)

I was reading Sliding Doors this week and Damian Barrett raised a fair point.

IF: Walker, Jenkins, Podsiadly, McKernan and Lynch ALL remain on the Crows list at the end of the year...

THEN:

Ugh, stupid bug.  ::)

Basically, he said - "well, they won't be. Clubs are devising offers."

Or something similar to that.

That just got me thinking, is there any chance that we could see a shock exit from Tex, Tommy Lynch or Jenko?

I mean, it would seem more likely for the Crows to just delist Pods or force him into retirement... or just offer up McKernan as trade bait again.

Giles may end at port?

I know a lot of people think he'll be going back to SA.

Mailman the 2nd

damian barrett doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

No one in their right mind would want Jenkins, Lynch or Mckernan
