Sando made an early announcement saying he is "systematically planning to attract Gibbs and other marquee free agents to West Lakes"


This isn't really a surprise given that Gibbs is a restricted free agent at the end of this season. Is it too early to make a call like this?

Exciting time for the Crows in the next few years. Cant wait for this season to get underway.

On a side note it is also exciting times for Port, which will make for great clashes. The next few years for South Australian football is as exciting as it has ever been with footy returning to Adelaide Oval.

On AFL 360 tonight they spoke of this and Robbo said that Gibbs had just bought a million dollar house round the corner form Princes Park. Stating that if you thought of going home this is not what you would do.

Pfft. Because a property investment by a cashed up AFL player means anything  ::). To draw a comparative, there was a frenzy in Adelaide when Lleyton Hewitt bought a million dollar house within a stones throw of AAMI stadium and the masses thought he was making Adelaide his home again.
I'm going to punt that Gibbs spends more time in Adelaide than Hewitt in the not too distant future.
