As someone who used to run a music blog I knew all about the joys of page view spikes when a random site would latch on to my content. It's a pretty cool feeling. Do you know what kind of numbers Art Felics are running at? I just dropped by my old site and it's ticked past 2.4 million total views.

I reckon they could do a bit more on the SEO front but it really depends how serious they are about growing the blog.

3157 total views. Blog started earlyish last year but only really took off in October. 2888 views since October (so 578 per month for 5 months). Not big numbers at all!

Excuse my ignorance but what's SEO?

We're pretty serious about growing it (I don't think they were early on but the idea now seems to be that making it big would be amazing). Any tips/advice?

SEO stands for search engine optimisation. Essentially they are strategies to give you the best exposure and move you up the search engine rankings. I'll PM you tonight or tomorrow and share some of my experiences.

Haha. I asked what his biggest kitchen mishap was and what his most irrational fear was. I think he combined the two answers. Was very amusing, particularly as I was half asleep and running late for uni.
