I know Jacobs burnt a lot of people last yeah but his pre season has been faultless, last year it was interrupted and he wasn't anywhere near as fit as he is this year. Im backing the big Sauce in!

46 out of 48 votes are a non-jacobs option. Jacobs is worse than a pickle by 15 votes. Statistics and free democracy don't lie. I'm a nice guy so I wouldn't enjoy seeing your demise. However I would say "I told you so". Loudly. And repeatedly.

Makes me wanna go Jacobs now just to spite you all  !!!

Big Sauce is a good tap ruckman it's just that he has Haphephobia which makes it kinda hard for him to tackle or get a contested ball  :o ;)

Thanks a lot jerk.

LOL.  :'(

The emoticon with tongue out was just me being cheeky - you obviously didn't get that. No malice on my part, just that chances are you would be cursing that decision in months time

Perhaps I should have worded it as Kiwi did, as in "I told you so", is the message I was getting across :)

With my worries over Nic Nat, these are my two next favoured for the appropirate price range. McEvoy and Mumford both look set for solo ruck jobs in 2014. My query is will they a) for McEvoy, score high enough to be a premo 105+ and b) for Mumford, be reliable enough with his injury history. Cheers.

No and No. I'm in the same boat but seriously considering culling the might Pav for a cheaper breakout option (maybe Gunston?) and having cahs for rookie upgrades and to turn NicNat into Cox.

Edit duh Gunston is more than Pav... disregard...

Yeh thats the thing... Neither are dominant forces, can they average 110? Not sure. But I'm very happy with the rest of my lines, so it will be tough to see how it plays out.

I would take McEvoy over Mumford every single day of the week.

I think McEvoy will score higher and play more games than Mummy this year.

Ricochet

McEvoy is probably the safer option here but I'm really unsure of how Hawks will play him. Mummy probably has the greater scoring potential but McEvoy is more durable

Nige

I actually recently made these two my ruck combo but had Mummy from the start (already explained this in another thread, not gonna do it again).

Ric's right though, Big Boy is safer but Mummy could likely score better. For me, it's almost a flip of the coin, but it could also depend on who your other ruck is...

shorty3264

Well my other ruck is ofcourse Sandi. Hence the added risk to have Nic Nat alongside an injury prone Sandilands. But yeh, wait and see for the final practice match.

colmullet

Had mummy locked and loaded for ages until i decided to run the cheap option, finished off 2013 great and definitely has the potential to go 105+ i think

Purplehaze25

Myke Pyke is the answer to a durable option, and will become a solid scorer in Mumfords absense

Keeper27

TBH i'd rather Sauce or Leuey.
we know both can go 100+ Leuey (2011), Sause (2012)
all 4 will avg more or less the same, so save some money and improve other lines
