Thoughts on this bloke.Seems to be a chance to be rotated through the mids , goalkicker and tackling machine.Awkward price but has upside I think.Pav's only about 10k cheaper but about 10 years older and on the decline slightly.Would be a F4..

SydneyRox

Going to spend more time in the fwd half this year. great for the dogs, might not be good for fantasy.

Grufflez

Since he cut his hair i don't see him as fantasy relevant anymore  :'(

E-Lemon_ator

Na, Ill be avoiding him.  At $425K there are a lot better options IMO

HotTiges

Seems like a massive avoid! Looking for that POD for F4 I think.Better options? What we thinking? TMitch and Parker for 50k more?or go the other way?THawk etc.. Bloody tough call

I'm in the same boat.

Looking like I might have to go south of $400k as I'll need the extra cash to beef up my DEF line now that it looks like Fuller is uncertain for Round 1.

HotTiges

Yeah McDonalds is my D6 so expect him to play so not in your boat but am getting nervous about the D6 position.

Caddy?

Yeah I've had him in a few rough teams.Looks a good prospect this season.wouldnt be a keeper but if he can 80+ avg it would be handy (a bit optimistic) also would allow me to play around Rohan JKH (F5/F6)

I think he can definitely push 85+

MC

Dahlhaus averaged 92.5 for the last 10 games of the season. That includes 4 scores of 110+ but also 2 of under 60. If he can get rid of those sub-60 games up to say a 70ish, then he will be a great addition to the forward line.

I can't see why he couldn't average 90, which would be good enough for F4 or F5 imo.

didn't the dogs shred their last 10 though?

Getting a little excited by his NAB form but he was on the improve late last year.I do expect a decent return from him but as per usual the Doggies need to pretty competitive for him to score unlike early last year when his form suffered due to poor overall team performance.

Doggoneit

IMO he will score better than last year. But I wont be starting him - wait and see and if he does a Beams from 2012 then jump on

The likes of Hunter, Stringer and now Honey-Church will play as forwards and we have to fit in Crameri as well. Tom Williams has been earmarked to play forward and there is also Jones and Campbell. On top of that there is Gia and Grant to come back from injury. I cant see Higgins running through the mids coming off his injury.

So the forward line is pretty full meaning Dahl could be given more mid time.

We havent seen Griff yet and Murphy ( poss Rd 5) and Smith (probably mid year) are injured, so majority of squad are available

There is a lot of competition for spots

Too many unknowns at the dogs to take any mid pricers IMO

I think it was more his own form - I reckon he and Macca worked something out around mid year and he started to hit his straps.
