Matt Priddis.

Super consistent, super gun.  ;)

High ceiling (160+), and rarely goes below a 100. If not for the yearly concussion, he'd be a 120+ scorer and top 5 mid. Underpriced so lock him in. Thanks for reminding me Nige ;)

He's my boy, have him every year.

I've said I won't start him this year, but I don't know whether I have it in me to actually do it.  :(

If you can afford all 3 of Ablett, Pendles, Selwood without your other lines being compromised, then definitely pick Selwood mate.

Would leave you without D.Beams which is a massive case of FAIL.
Depends on how much you care about the byes. If you don't care, then why not, you'd be gaining plenty of points in rounds 9 and 10 anyway (not to mention the rest of the season as well).

I love Priddis also but can't bring myself to start him, Beams and Thomas are just so underpriced in comparison, and for me Priddis isn't strong enough to be a starting M1,2 or 3. I do love the springy haired little bugger though.

Jackross I'd be taking a long look at Griffen, Watson and Rocky mate. Can't really go wrong with any of those guys.

Know what you mean GL but going light round 8 or even setting up your team to tank won't do any favours even if you're going for league only. Plenty of others like me will be setting up the team to trade in players like Jelwood after the round 8 bye, so really the only points we might be losing are over the first 7 rounds whatever the difference is between a Jelwood and a Griffen/Watson/Rocky... I'm pretty sure a donut would erase any deficit pretty quickly.

This extract from above nails it.

In a close (money) league, percentage at the end of the year is often the deciding factor whether you make finals or not.

Tanking a round is madness.

If you are that sure you know one of these guns will outscore the rest by so much, you are clearly deluded.

Good luck to all - balance your team.
