What did you guys think of Watts? I could only catch the first half but from what I saw he looked more composed in a midfield role, and the team kept dishing the ball out to him as well. He still doesn't know how to tackle though

Played well, in parts. Needs to work on his consistency. The team obviously wanted to use him out wide, for his ball use, so he'll be valuable in that role. Another factor, which is a positive, is that when he hits form (particularly since his disposal is top notch) he may draw the tag away from Jones/Vince.

With Roos high-possession gameplan across half back and through the midfield, am I crazy for considering Lynden Dunn as a POD defender in DT/SC?

Head over to Supercoachscores website, and take a look at Rowsus' thread "Can Statistics Find The Next Breakout Player?"

Dunn is a solid chance to breakout this season, especially with the way we are playing.

All good, Vin. Rowsus knows his stuff and is extremely intelligent (especially when it comes to stats and numbers).

Take Hogan out  :'(

Makes me very sad

These key injuries are REALLY annoying me now! But I guess St Kilda have it worse for Round 1

Barra17

He should be back in about 2 or 3 weeks which is good.

SACK PAUL ROOS!!!

:P

A reality check, lets hope it makes them have something to prove round 1. Worrying match sure, but we can't forget our performances against Rich and Geel in a hurry  8)

Love seeing JKH and Georgiou in the OP along with Tyson and Viv on the ball 8)

Also interested in an update as to where they all sit now though.

Is JKH a lock for round 1?

I would say so. He is pretty much melbourne's only livewire. Not the only small forward, but the only livewire. And based on reports... I give it an 85% chance.

I doubt he will be much of a fantasy scorer, but he will play more than others at that price

Yeah, he's just a player I feel like Melbourne needs.
