Hi all,

Im sure most will have Sandi but who else would you go with.  Bear in mind the purpose of this topic is for the strongest ruck combo, cost irrelevant.

Cox for the most consistent over the last 5 years
Naitinui for the most underpriced for what he can do

Goldy or Minson both top dollar after a stellar 2013, not sure if I would back them to maintain, but also have no reason to doubt them either.

Yeah I would say either GoldCox of MinniCox but I think what Mr E-lemonator meant was Sandi at R2 and then money is no object for R1...

A lot of Cox in this thread. Money no object then Nicnat + Cox. Neither should lose currency in the early games and both should score well. Having said that I have Nicnat and ??   ??  Don't like Sandi, not sure about Lobbe, don't trust Minson or Goldy which leaves me pretty well stuffed unless maybe I look at Cox or perhaps risk Ryder. Have enough money to afford two Abletts, wish I could have him twice. Cheers.    :-\ :-\

The premo rucks are so hard to pick this year. Interesting to see a few of you going with Cox.

I don't mind the idea of starting with two cheaper rucks (Sandi plus HMac/Hickey/Grundy/Hampson) but with so much uncertainty with forward and back rookies in particular it would be nice to not worry about the rucks.

I personally love 7 ft Cox.

Oh, and I have Cox and Sandi at the moment, sudden change of heart there towards Cox.

Very much so...

But on a serious note, if you take Cox's age out of the situation then people would be locking him in IMO, flying this pre-season apparently, a great early draw which could see some of his massive scores. And if NicNat convinces me that he's fit by round 1, I can revert back to the SandiNat combo.

Luenberger or kreuzer for me. I think sandi is a massive risk, hopefully he can make it through to the byes

Im currently deciding between Luenberger, McEvoy or Cox.  I think both Minson & Goldy will drop in $$ in the start of the season.  Yep, would usually lock in Cox, but his age has me concerned....
